Terms of service

Welcome to Eldi Landscaping LLC. By accessing our website (eldiprohardscapingllc.com) or by hiring us for landscaping and hardscaping services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. Services Provided

Eldi Landscaping LLC provides professional landscaping and hardscaping services, including but not limited to lawn maintenance, masonry, patio installation, and yard design. The specific scope of work for any project will be outlined in a written estimate or service agreement provided to the client.

2. Estimates and Pricing

  • All estimates provided are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance.
  • Estimates are based on a visual inspection of the property. If unforeseen conditions arise (such as hidden underground rock or drainage issues), Eldi Landscaping LLC reserves the right to adjust the final price after discussing the changes with the client.
  • A signature or written confirmation (email/text) is required to approve an estimate and schedule work.

3. Payment Terms

  • For larger hardscaping projects, a deposit (typically 30-50%) may be required before materials are ordered or work begins.
  • Final payment is due immediately upon completion of the project unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
  • Late payments may be subject to a late fee in accordance with New York State law.

4. Client Responsibilities

To ensure the best results, the client agrees to the following:

  • Access: Provide the Eldi Landscaping crew access to the service area during scheduled work hours.
  • Utilities: Ensure that all underground private lines (e.g., dog fences, irrigation, or private lighting) are clearly marked. Eldi Landscaping LLC is not responsible for damage to unmarked private lines.
  • Property Prep: Keep the work area clear of pet waste, toys, and portable furniture.

5. Changes and Cancellations

Clients must provide at least 48 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling of maintenance services. For major hardscaping projects, deposits may be non-refundable if materials have already been purchased or customized for the job.

6. Weather Delays

Landscaping and hardscaping are weather-dependent services. Eldi Landscaping LLC reserves the right to reschedule work due to rain, extreme heat, or frozen ground. We will communicate any schedule changes to the client as soon as possible.

7. Limitation of Liability

Eldi Landscaping LLC is fully insured. However, we are not responsible for damage caused by natural disasters, extreme weather conditions (e.g., winter kill), or pre-existing structural issues at the property. We are also not responsible for the health of plants/lawns if the client fails to follow provided watering and maintenance instructions.

8. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Albany County, NY.
